Vasectomy reversal recovery recommendations

of worsening pain, increased redness or tenderness around the incision site. If you notice any of these conditions,
then it's time to give your doctor a call;
- Avoid showering for 48 hours post vasectomy reversal and stay without tub baths or swimming for a week, at the least;
- Any form of physical activity is forbidden for one to two weeks after your surgery. If necessary, you may return
to work after 2-3 days but avoid any kind of strenuous circumstances. You can expect a gradual recovery to normal
activities, typically within four or five weeks under your doctor's indication;
- It's advisable to avoid sexual intercourses for at least three weeks following surgery.
- A follow-up consultation to evaluate the healing process after a week of vasectomy reversal is strongly recommended.
